Sacs de Chiffon 

I would hear my mothers sewing machine going throughout the night many nights as she was stitching our dance costumes for an upcoming recital.  She was always so proud for us to see what she had accomplished in the wee hours of the night.  We were excited too!  She taught me from a very young age how to thread a needle and then eventually work that antique sewing machine that is still in operation today!  I am proud to say I'm proud of my work as my mother was proud of hers.

I come from a lineage of seamstresses and tailors.  My Great Grandfather was a tailor in Providence Rhode Island in the late 1800's and early 1900's.  There is a four generation photograph of the men in their three piece suites proudly smiling for the camera.  I guess I inherited the gene of such a talent.  I don't think much of it.  It's been something that I've always done and will continue to do for a good long time.  It brings me much pleasure for you visit my sight.  Thank you for taking the time.  See you again soon!

Our Business

Buttons are antique from my own Mothers button box who was her Mothers button box!  I scavenge for fabric carefully to be sure it's just the right stuff for me to design and blend the right colors and hues of fabrics for the best bags ever.  The inside is always just as pretty as the outside.

Like I said, I started by just wanting a bag that was unique and not the same old stuff I was finding in the local stores.  So, I designed one just for me.  I wore it to work and couldn't keep it on my shoulder.  One woman said she liked it so much she wanted to know how much she could give me so it could be hers!  So I quoted her a price and unloaded my stuff into a plastic grocery bag and home I went to make myself yet another bag that would soon be someone elses!  It's been almost two years and there are many bags out there now made and designed by me.  I'm quite proud to deliver you the best quality bag.  Again, thank you for visiting my site!
